a.“Yeah totally, I love watching wildlife documentaries! I always get so excited to learn more about the different animals and their habitats.”

b.“Yeah definitely, I’m a huge fan of nature shows! I’m especially fascinated by the ones that are filmed in Africa, and love seeing all the different types of animals in their natural environment. It’s  so cool.”

c.“Yeah for sure, I’m really into nature shows and documentaries about wild animals. I was recently watching one about polar bears and their lives in the Arctic. It was so interesting to learn about their behaviour and adaptations to their environment.”

d.Nah not really, I just don’t have the patience to sit through a whole show about animals. I’d rather watch something that’s more fast-paced and action-packed.

2.Are there many wild animals in your country?

a.“To be honest, there really aren’t so many. We don’t have a huge variety of wild animals here, and most of them can only be found in certain regions, and in out of the way places, that are off the beaten path.”

b.” Yeah, there are quite a few wild animals in my country! We have a variety of different species, from birds to large mammals like deer and bears.

c.“Yeah, there are quite a few wild animals in my country, especially in the more rural areas. I’ve seen foxes, badgers, and even wild boars when I’ve been out exploring!”

  1. Did you learn about wild animals when you were in school?

a.“Yeah, we did! I remember we had a few classes dedicated to learning about different types of wild animals and their habitats, when I was in primary school, and it was something I really enjoyed learning about.”

b.“Yeah, definitely! We studied about different species of animals and how they interact with their environment. It was really interesting and taught me a lot about the natural world.”

c.“No, as far as I remember, we didn’t spend much time on learning about wild animals in school. We mostly focused on more general topics like biology and ecology.”

  1. Are there any animals that have a special meaning in your  country?

ielts speaking wild animalsa.“Yeah, there are some animals that have a special meaning in China. For example, the dragon symbolizes power and strength, while the phoenix symbolizes prosperity and luck.”

c.Yeah, definitely! The turtle is seen as a symbol of longevity and stability, as well as the elephant which symbolizes wisdom and patience. The phoenix is also seen as a symbol of luck and good fortune.

  1. Where can you see wild animals in your country?

a.“You can usually see wild animals in certain protected areas or national parks. I’ve seen a lot of wild animals when I’ve gone camping in the forest, like monkeys and many kinds of birds.”

b.Well, I think you would have to travel to the more rural parts of the country, as there are very few, if any wild animals to be found in or close to the cities. However I’m sure you can  see some wild animals in some parts of the countryside.”

  1. Have you ever seen any wild animals before?

a.“To be honest,  no not really. I haven’t ever really had the chance to go on a safari or anything like that. Most of my wild animal sightings have been in zoos or wildlife parks.”

b.Nah not really, I don’t really get the opportunity to see wild animals very often, as I live in a city, so there’s not really much wildlife around here. However, I often visited the zoo when I was a kid, and of course got to see  many different wild animals.”

c.“Yeah, I have! I’ve seen a lot of different types of wild animals in my lifetime, from deer and foxes in the forest to wild boars and badgers in the countryside.”

  1. Have you ever been to a zoo?

a.” Yeah, I’ve been to a few zoos! I’ve seen a lot of different animals, from elephants to tigers and even some more exotic species like kangaroos and koalas.”

b.“No, to be honest, I’m not really a fan of zoos, and I don’t really like the idea of animals being kept in captivity or caged up, as I think it’s quite cruel, so I try to avoid going to them.”

  1. Have you ever kept a pet?

a.” Yeah, I actually have kept a pet! When I was a little kid I had a fish tank with some tropical fish as well as a pet hamster.”

b.“Yeah, I have! I currently have a dog that I’ve had since he was a little puppy, and he’s my best buddy. I love taking him out on walks and playing with him everyday.”

c.“No, I’ve never actually kept a pet. I’m not really into taking on the responsibility of caring for another living creature.  As well as that,I don’t really have the time or the money to take care of a pet, and I prefer to just admire animals from afar.”
