describe a person who inspired you to do something interesting“A person who’s really inspired me to do something is actually my uncle Dave, who started his own tech company about 5 years ago. He’s now turned it into a highly successful company, employing over 50 people today, which I think is a very inspirational story.

I’ve always had an interest in anything related to technology, especially computers, and my uncle both inspired and motivated me to make the decision to study computer science in college.

I had to make this decision about 3 years ago, at which time I was at a crossroads in my life, and was at my wits end trying to decide something that I knew would affect my whole future life in a pretty short space of time. However, after getting some inspirational advice from my uncle Dave, I decided to follow in his footsteps, and study computer programming.

The main reason I find him such an inspiration is that he started this business from scratch, while still only in his early twenties, and within only 3 years turned it into the success it is today. I watched him when he first started in this business, and how he poured his heart and soul into it ,to get the business going, and I’m always so inspired by the way he literally eat’s, sleeps and breathes the business .

Even though his business has grown so much, he still never  sits back, and keeps working hard to keep growing and expanding the business, and always goes the extra mile, which is something that really motivates, and inspires me to keep studying hard.

Thank you…..”

Describe a person who inspired you – Part 3

What kinds of people often become role models in today’s society?

describe a person who inspired you to do something interesting in your life“Well, personally, this is something that I believe has really changed a lot in recent years, In the past, people normally looked up to their parents, and teachers as role models. However, these days, it seems that so many young people choose famous people such as pop stars or movie stars, and even social media influencers as their role models, which is in my opinion is not always ideal, and all too often many of these people have a negative influence on youngsters today.”

Do you think it’s important for children to have role models?

Yes , I believe that having a good role model is extremely important for any child’s development. Children are easily influenced, as well as not always understanding the difference between right and wrong, so it’s vital that they have a good role model to look up to. A good role model can both inspire and encourage kids to keep striving, as well as to overcome any obstacles along the way.

What’s more a good role model will have a major influence on a child’s behavior and habits. Young children often learn through mimicking their role models, and adults who demonstrate these good qualities and habits will always have a positive effect on the child.”

Can celebrities ever be good role models?

a person who inspired you“Well, Yes I think some celebrities can most definitely serve as good role models. They can often act as a great inspiration to kids as well as bringing awareness to certain issues, such as environmental problems or poverty.

What’s more, some celebrities often sacrifice their private lives to work for a  noble cause, and even donate large amounts of money. For instance, the famous Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has done so much amazing charity work for children, and works as a goodwill ambassador for the united nations.

Having said that, there are of course many more celebrities who are certainly not great role models. There are celebs who have been involved in numerous scandals, very often involving drugs, and alcohol.

Personally, I believe that celebrities actually have a responsibility, as well as needing to understand that their actions often have an effect on their fans, and that this is one of the prices of fame.”
