IELTS collocations for public transportation.

Collocations are very important in the IELTS speaking exam because they help to create a natural sounding sentence and give the examiners an indication of your level of English.

If you used the wrong collocation, it could make the sentence sound unnatural and make it harder for the examiners to understand your point. For example, if you were to say “I have a great necessity in English,” instead of “I have a great need for English,” while neither sentence is incorrect, the examiners would find the first sentence harder to understand.

Therefore, if you want to get a higher score in the IELTS speaking exam, it would be wise to practise using collocations as much as possible.
