Describe an adventure you would like to go on

You should say:

  • Where would you go
  • Who would you like to go with
  • What would you do there

And explain how you would feel about it

Example 1

an adventure you would like to go on ielts part 2“For years now, I’ve dreamed about taking an adventure in Vietnam, and I feel like I’m finally ready to take the plunge! I would be super excited to explore the lush jungles, cruise the bustling cities, and experience the unique culture of this vibrant country.

I’d definitely want to go on this adventure with my best buddy John, as he’s also really into travel and adventure, as well as always up for anything.

I would really like to get out and experience all that Vietnam has to offer. I would love to be able to climb the incredibly beautiful limestone cliffs of Halong Bay, which I’ve seen on a few different documentaries, and is on the top of my bucket list

Another adventurous thing I’d really want to try would be scuba diving in the gorgeous coral reefs, as well as relaxing on some of the stunning beaches. I’m sure I would also be able to enjoy some amazing local food, and maybe even take a few cooking classes. As well as that, I’d also love to learn more about the fascinating history of the country.

I guess I would be a little nervous about the whole trip, but I’d also be very eager to get out there and explore. I’m sure there would be some bumps along the way, but hey, that would be all part of the adventure. I’m always ready to step out of my comfort zone and embrace the unknown.

I’m so looking forward to having an epic adventure in Vietnam one of these days, and I’m sure it would be an incredible experience and I’d have so many wonderful stories to share with everyone back home. I’m sure it won’t be long before I’m actually packing my bags and hitting the road!

Thank you.”

Example 2

ielts speaking part 2 adventure“For as long as I can remember,I’ve always dreamed of going on an adventure and I can think of nothing better than a train trip around Europe! Imagine exploring the beautiful sights, sampling all kinds of delicious cuisine, as well as meeting interesting people from all walks of life. I’m sure it would be an amazing experience.

I think I’d start by taking the plane to France, where I’d take in the country’s breathtaking scenery and explore some of  the vibrant cities. From there, I’d hop on the train and make my way to Italy, where I could get lost in the narrow, winding streets of Rome and Venice, and enjoy all the delicious pasta and gelato.

Next, I’d make my way to Germany where I could start to explore the stunning Alpine scenery of Bavaria. I’d be sure to also make some stops in countries like Austria and Switzerland, as I really love the mountains. I’m sure the sights I’d see would take my breath away.

I think the train would be a thrilling ride, full of adventure and surprises. Of course, I’d make sure to take plenty of pictures and post all about my experiences on my social media . I’m sure when I get back home, I’ll be full of stories to tell.

I’m already dreaming of this amazing adventure and really can’t wait to set off on my journey. I’m sure it would  be a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’d remember fondly for years to come.

Thank you.”

Describe an adventure you would like to go on – IELTS speaking part 3

Why do you think that many people like to go on an adventure or travel to new places?

“Well, personally, I think that many people enjoy going on an adventure or travelling to new places because it can be an exciting and thrilling experience.

Exploring new and unknown places can be a real eye-opening experience and can open up our minds to new possibilities and cultures.

As well as that, it can also be a great way for people to get away from their day-to-day lives and take a break from their daily routines.

On top of that, it can of course be a great way to meet new people and make connections with others from different backgrounds. I think travelling or taking a new adventure is usually an exhilarating and rewarding experience that can not only provide amazing memories, but also give us a new perspective on life.”

What kind of qualities do you think that an adventurous person has?

describe an adventure you would like to takeThat’s a good question, and I guess adventurous people do have some particular qualities or traits. I think adventurous people are usually full of life and enthusiasm!

They are usually very open-minded and willing to take risks and try new things. As well as that, I think that they must have an insatiable curiosity and are never afraid to explore the unknown.

On top of that, I guess that they might be courageous and brave, not letting fear stand in their way of anything. They also have a go-getter attitude and embrace life with a positive attitude and a can-do spirit.

What’s more they are most likely passionate about life and excited by the possibilities that each new experience brings, which I believe are great qualities for anyone to have.”

Do you think that people of all ages are adventurous?

Well, personally….yes, I think that people of all ages can be adventurous!

For example, my grandpa and some of his friends like to go on hikes and explore the outdoors, and I think there are many other elderly people who are also always up to try something new, and adventurous.

I guess teenagers in particular are always up for some adventure, and love trying new things like skateboarding, mountain biking, as well as other extreme or adventurous activities.

Even little kids or toddlers love exploring the world around them and are always  on the move.

I  really  think it’s great, as well as quite inspiring that people of all ages can be so curious and brave when it comes to taking risks and trying new things. Personally, It makes me feel excited and motivated to take more chances in life too!”

Why do you think that adventure novels are so popular?

ielts speaking adventureThat’s a very interesting question, and something I’ve never thought about, but, yes, adventure novels certainly are incredibly popular these days.

I think maybe it’s because they allow readers to escape into a world outside of their own. They offer a thrilling and exciting story that takes readers to places they’ve never been before.

As well as that readers are able to experience a range of emotions, from danger and suspense to joy and excitement.

What’s more, I think that adventure novels also provide a fantastic way to learn about different cultures, countries, and people.

Personally, I find them so enjoyable because they often have a great mix of action, drama, and mystery, which I think is something almost everyone enjoys.”
